Below are my comments on Instant Immigration's services, I understand the
purpose and it is completely frank.

I was a little wary at using consultants initially, although several recent
immigrants recommended doing so. They had quite complicated circumstances
and had been happy with the help they received  -  they got in! (I met
no-one who had used your company). But Kiwi locals thought it unnecessary
and a waste of money (but they hadnt been through the process).

I already had and read all the forms and Guidelines from NZIS before I
contacted you, but the free initial assessment/screening was a major
deciding factor, plus the fact that through that I discovered I had myself
misread the regulations and I did ALREADY HAVE sufficient points. The fixed
fee (no out-of-control escalating costs) was also important. The
',money-back guarantee', while a useful (and unexpected) security against
your company's own potential error/negligence, was less of a deciding
factor because it was clear you only took clients who clearly qualified and
were very unlikely to fail. At that point I thought about 'going it alone'
knowing then I had the required points, but the deciding factors were that
I was approaching the age limit and had only one shot at it - I couldnt
risk messing it up, and your contacts with me had been very open and
honest, and also friendly/caring and supportive, the negotiated discount
was an important example of this. After these initial contacts I felt your
company was genuine, businesslike but not greedy.

The information-giving process was very efficient, fast and responsive, and
very clear.
You always responded immediately to every message of mine, even though an
answer as such was not always necessary - this gave me confidence, I knew
you were always there and knew what stage we were at. Important also were
the little personal touches, eg humour, comments etc which made me feel I
was seen as a person and not just a set of forms:). Also very important was
that I always dealt with the same person (at least, messages were always
signed-off 'Peter' and seemed to be the same person, even if on occasions
it was someone else acting in your absence, it was good to keep the
continuity):))) This also created trust, which made it easy for me to 'do
as I was told' and feel sure it was the right thing because you knew me as
well as the 'system.'

After your full set of instructions, when I began to collect documentation
etc I did feel that I was actually doing everything myself and your role
was just to encourage. To be completely frank, while appreciating the
encouragement very much, I did feel glad that I had negotiated a discount
on fees because it was not so clear at that stage the significance of your
assistance - perhaps this is because my case was not a complicated one (I
think?),  so I did not think you were actually DOING very much in a
practical or administrative sense as far as the application was concerned.
And of course I have no idea how complex other applications might be, or
how different, or how 'difficult' some other clients might be. Now that it
is complete, I'm not sure just what else you could have done - perhaps the
message is to let us know a little more about the details of your work?

Of course I cannot know what might have happened if I had not used your
services, (I was not prepared to take the risk), but now it is over, I
would recommend others to use it
for the support and peace of mind. But clients must vary enormously - from
families with half a dozen children who dont speak English, to single
native speakers like myself, and although you cannot know in advance
exactly how an application will develop, I think some flexibility on fees,
without losing the 'fixed fee' idea, is a good approach, and it was

My application was accepted upon first consideration by NZIS, which I

and follow-up throughout the application process, as well as their
professional presentation of all materials.

Based on this engagement I would, without hesitation, recommend Instant

  • from the start of our business relation Peter Beiner was always able to answer all my funny questions at any time and to dispel all reservations which I sometimes had or when I got nervous about bureaucracy
  • apart from questions concerning immigration issues Peter Beiner was a great help for me in a lot of other issues like e.g. translations, booking flights, health insurance, shipping my belongings, finding work etc.
  • Peter Beiner always kept me up-to date about the present state of things
  • the price of the services is more than reasonable

Competence - 10, we went through quite a lot of immigration law changes and Peter always seemed very well informed

Reliability - 8, this was a difficult one as we were on completely different sides of the world but Peter made it as easy as possible to communicate and to keep us informed of what was happening.

Fees -7,  Probably a bit more than we initially wanted to spend but looking at the outcome and the life we know have I guess that is priceless

Overall Service - 9, As stated above we went through a few times when we thought we would not get in because of the immigration laws changing constantly but Peter always informed us of what was happening and what certain changes meant for us, we were happy with the service we received.
